GENERAL STUDIO POLICIES

BOOKING:

  • All session times shall be booked via e-mail or phone

  • Sessions must be booked through DE Studios Management

  • Sessions must be confirmed by DE Studios Management via e-mail, phone or text

  • Studio time comes with a DE Engineer.  Artists that wish to use their own engineer will need to obtain approval from DE Studios Management, sign a Contract Engineer Agreement and possibly pay an additional fee. 

  • Any persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, adult or guardian unless other arrangements have been made.

  • Client agrees to allow DE Studios to use audio and/or video recordings for promotional purposes. If group recordings are conducted, client agrees to inform group of this statement and obtain any necessary consent prior to recording.

 

DEPOSITS:

  • In order to confirm all studio and video bookings a non-refundable deposit or up-front payment is required

  • Non-refundable deposits may be equivalent to 50% of the total cost of services requested

  • DE Studios Management reserves the right to change or cancel sessions if deposit is not received at agreed upon time for video event or 5 days (120 hours) prior to initial recording session, without notice to client.

  • Deposits will be applied towards services requested after the initial 50% of services requested have been rendered

  • DE Studios Management has the right to waive deposits at its discretion

  • Due to the pre-payment to engineers and/or vendors, all deposits and initial payments are non-refundable after the first hour of services are rendered.

  • Deposits and up-front payments are non-refundable if any session is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to session time, including same day bookings and same day cancellations. 

 

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Notice of client's session cancellation must be received by DE Studios Management at least 2 days prior to recording session or 30 days prior to video event

  • Cancellations must be acknowledged by DE Studios Management either verbally or in writing for proper cancellation notice

  • Cancellation notices not received in the required amount of time are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session time

  • Sessions cancelled on the same day will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the total cost of session time booked for that day

  • Deposit amount may be applied to cover partial cost of cancellation fee

 

UNUSED TIME:(Only Applies to Recording Sessions)

  • 50% of the remaining time booked may be charged to the client, at management's discretion, in the event that the session is completed early or the client choses to leave before time has expired.

  • In the event a client fails to show for the session time booked, the total amount of time booked will be charged to client.

 

PAYMENTS

  • Payment for all materials, services, and fees (if applicable) are due in full immediately after each session unless prior arrangements are made with DE Studios Management

  • DE Studios Management reserves the right to make payment arrangements with clients

  • Clients agree to pay all DE Studios attorney's fees related to the financial collection processes for services

 

GENERAL CONDUCT

  • DE Studios is a family-friendly environment.  While we encourage creative expression, we do ask that you be mindful of younger artists if using profanity outside the recording booth.

  • DE Studios is a drug-free/smoke-free environment. 

  • All food and drinks must be kept in designated areas. 

  • We love pets, but unfortunately our building management doesn't.  All pets must be kept outside.
